It is You Jesus, stretched out on the cross, who gives me strength and are always close to the suffering soul. Creatures will abandon a person in his suffering, but You, O Lord, are faithful…(1508)
I have experienced the truth in these words from St. Faustina. Suffering can mean many things such as rejection, abandonment, persecution etc. One thing I have learned is that Jesus is ALWAYS with us, he is there to comfort and hold you in his loving arms. He will never abandon you.
Thanks for always being near me. Thanks for being at my side each and everyday. I believe you will never leave me. You are faithful and loving, and I love you so. Amen.
