Helping the Lost

James 5:20 ” let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.”

Having been saved from my sinful past, I can see now how my sins almost gripped the life out of me. There are people who come into my life and I find they are caught up in things that use to consume me before I knew God. Things of this world and addiction’s that once had a hold of me.

I know now that I am to be an example of God’s grace. A light in this dark world. Although I feel their pain and hope they could stop what they are doing instantly, all I can do is be an example. Your life can be instrumental in ones’ conversion if you allow God to work through you to help the lost.

Dear Lord,

I thank you for the lost people you have placed in my life. I ask that you would help me to keep being a light for those in need. Please give me the right words and open their hearts to you father. Amen.

  1. Dear Shawna. Thank you for your blog. I am still in Brownsville Texas but will be returning home in about six to seven weeks. I hope and pray that the snow will be gone by the time I get back at the beginning of April. Never the less it will be good to return home. I have been somewhat busy ministering to various groups of people throughout the west coast. United in prayers. May Jesus Bless you and the Blessed Virgin Mary protect you. Fr. Denis Phaneuf.
