A gentle reminder

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.”

I was having a challenging week and was feeling frustrated and down. When Saturday came along I went shopping for a few items. In line at Costco a kind stranger started making chit chat with me and told me I could go ahead of her. Having Thanked her for the kindness, I startled her with how much I appreciated her kindness. Then I headed to Sears to find a longer winter coat. To my surprise they were 50% off that day. I went to the ladies coat section and started looking through the racks at what was left. Once again a kind stranger gave me the coat she had in her hand’s and told me to try it on. She told me it did not fit her and it was the only one left in that size. I tried on the coat, and it was exactly what I was looking for. It fit me like a glove. Having now Thanked her and telling her how today has been a Blessed day, and how much I appreciated this.

This incident reminded me that God works through others. How these stranger’s made my day with their actions. How God shower’s us with love and blessing’s if we take the time to appreciate and see the good in even the small and simple things in our day. Just think if we could all try to show kindness how we could make even one person have a day that reflects God’s love for them.

Dear Jesus,

I pray that we can all grow in Love for one another. That we could slow down from this busy world and take the time to be a blessing to someone.   Amen
