“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
The words spoken above tell us that God is with us all the time and not to fear. So why do we struggle with this? Why does fear come over us at times? Personally, I have struggled with anxiety all my life. My past was full of chaos, stress, and hardships. I have had to deal with fear and anxiety a large percentage of my life. Even though I know God is real and that God is truly in my life, I still can fall into anxiety. This is who I am. I have learned to pray and ask God to help me. I know that even though I am like this, God still loves me. He will not leave me. He will not abandon me.
I pray for all those who struggle with anxiety and fear. I pray for those children who are in dysfunctional homes that are hurting and need someone to love them. I ask that they would come to know you in their lives and that with your help you can help them to live the life you have for them. Amen.
