1 Peter 3:8 “Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love of the brethren, a tender heart and a humble mind.”
Do you have eyes of compassion? Do you look at ones heart and listen to their journey before you are quick to judge? We all have sinned, we all have fallen short, we are all broken people. Everyone has hurts and pain that we have to walk through in our lives. My life has had trials and pain, and I have suffered many hardships. Having allowed Jesus to enter my life is where my healing journey began. There are things that I have had tremendous healing from in my life and I know God has forgiven me for. I would not be able to share my life story with others unless God had healed me and anointed me to do so. When I started to share my story I know others judged me for my past faults, and some still do. We need to all be careful when we judge others which is pride. We all fall short and need humility to be able to love one another. Let us all ask Jesus to help us to look at the heart of others with compassionate eyes.
Please forgive us when we judge others. Help us to look with compassionate eyes, and have love for one another. I pray that we can help all those that are hurting and suffering, and help them to find forgiveness and mercy, through having a relationship with you. Amen.
