Change is possible with Christ

Acts 9:4-6 ”And he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” and he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting; but rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.”

Have you been hurt by other’s? Have you been judged, talked about falsely? Treated unfairly? We all can say “yes” I am sure. The question is how did you respond? Did you recognize that you are hurting God when we treat other’s poorly? We are called to be ‘”one body in Christ.” Loving each other even in times when it is hard. This is possible by recognizing that this person who is hurting you, is obviously hurting deeply themselves. They are in need of prayer. If anger arises from us being treated harshly, take that to the confessional. We need God’s grace to be loving, and only he can transform our hearts. I know the power of Change, and God can transform us like he did St.Paul. Pray for the people who hurt you and I promise in God’s timing you will see real change.

Dear Jesus,

Give us the Grace to rise above our anger when we are treated poorly. Help us to forgive, and pray for those who hurt us. Transform their hearts to see that with your help their lives could be transformed. Amen.
