Ephesians 5:11 “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
Are you wearing a false mask? Are you pretending to be perfect? Do you realize the spiritual effects this false appearance can have on you?
In order to start the process of healing you need to be honest with yourself and Jesus. Bringing the things you have hidden in the dark to Jesus will produce a light that will shine and bring you closer to him. In time he will free you and give you a peace that only comes from knowing him.
You need to be real with yourself if you desire change. If you are tired of going in circles and not being at peace Jesus is only a prayer away.
Dear Jesus,
I pray for all people who are suffering and distressed. People who are afraid to admit they are hurting. I pray they will come to know you and seek peace that only you can give them. Amen.
