Psalm 143: 7-10 “ Answer me quickly, O Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me, or I shall be like those who go down to the pit. Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for In you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Save me, O Lord, from my enemies; I have fled to you for refuge. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.”
We all want to follow the right path that is pleasing to Jesus. The path that is usually the right path is also the most challenging and difficult one to walk. The bumps and hills on that road can help us to build character and shape us to a deeper love and trust in God. If we turn to Jesus in prayer and careful discernment he will strengthen us with confirmation that we are on the right path. Place your trust in him and allow his love to mold you to be the person he created you to be.
I thank you for the bumps and hills in life that have us turn to you for guidance. I pray for continual strength and trust in all of us to seek you wholeheartedly. Thank you for loving us and shaping us, Amen.
